 10. Measuring Success :

1.
Success has two aspects – an external aspect and an internal aspect.

2.
For example, an external measure of success for a student is his/her marks or grades.

3.
But the internal measure of success is measured by the amount of love the student has developed for his studies.

4.
This internal aspect is subjective. There are many students who perform brilliantly but actually do it out of compulsion.

5.
We have a tendency to judge students by their performance in one final exam and then label them as successes or failures.

6.
But every day in school teaches a student something, and that is an achievement that we tend to ignore.

7.
Let me give another example of how to measure success properly.

Suppose we decide to meditate and get up early and sit for half an hour.

9.
But after some time we feel that we were a failure at meditation because we noticed that our thoughts were wandering, then that would not be proper way to measure success.

10.
The very fact that we got up early, which never happened before, and we were able to sit for half an hour in a single posture is an achievement in itself.

1. Muslims lack this sattvika Dhrti, ie., live & sustain in any Nations ( other than Islamic ), LIVE AS dedicated, sincere, honest  people,  contribute to the Sreyas of that country and live peacefully, with the main stream, as one of them, without dragging their Islam, in the day to day life ...

2. Muslims lack Sattvika happiness, They hate other communities  is because of, Both tamasika and rajasika happiness appear to be giving joy, but in fact, they create bondage, of selfishness, hatred, destruction and many more evils ......

3. US President - Statement about Muslims, is wise, reason being, the lack of Sattvika Dhrti, more over, once they settled, start all damaging activities against the Nations ON WHOSE MERCY they are living ...
