These days when the power of social media is known to all, it’s difficult to understand how some people still have the courage to harass and send perverted messages online. President Pranab Mukherjee’s daughter and Congress leader Sharmistha Mukherjee took to Facebook to expose her online harasser. In her post, she said the guy named Partha Mandal has been sending offensive messages to her on Facebook messenger.

Mukherjee shared screenshots of the messages sent to her and said she decided to speak up against online harassment as ignoring it would only encourage him further. She also tagged the man who has now deleted his profile from Facebook.

“This pervert Partha Mandal is sending me dirty sexual messages. My 1st reaction was to ignore & block him. But then I thought the silence wud encourage him to find other victims. Just blocking & reporting is not enough. I strongly feel such ppl shd be publicly exposed & humiliated. I’m posting screenshots of his profile & messages he sent me. I’m also tagging him. Pls share this post & tag this rat as a msg that these pervert acts will not be taken lightly,” she wrote.

The post has gone viral on Facebook and many appreciated Mukherjee for giving out a strong message to online harassers. “U belong to royal family. U r the daughter of Hon’ble President of our Nation. U r the encouraging factor for other women of our Nation too. U have done a courageous and praiseworthy job,” wrote a user.

My view

1. The intention of Social medias is good;

2. But present day, people are asuric / demonic  and totally destroy the media by their conduct;

3. The managers of these medias do not check the profiles, and take care to avoid indiscipline in the usage;
4. Except few,  all profiles are not true, and most of them use it very badly;

5. BEST THING TO SELF CARE AND BLOCK ALL IDIOTS WHO ARE VULGOUR AND INDISCIPLINE.

6. LEGAL ACTION SHOUD BE TAKEN AGAINST THIS CULPRIT, AND WARN THE MISBEHAVING YOUTH OF THIS NATION, VERY URJENT.
