*All Members,
*Respected family members of this great holy Nation.
The question of how to live the values of life is not a new one faced only in modern times. It is as old as our scriptures. This is a weakness that every person faces in his life - the contradiction between his knowledge and his living.
**VERY IMPORTANT FOR THE PRESENT DAY PARENTS : - to direct their children - Follow Sincerely :
Your child is not different from you and you are not different from your child. Therefore, what you are, your child will be. Now you have to decide what you want yourself to be and your child to be, because the choice is yours.

Srimad Bhagavad Gita : Chapter-16. Slokam-s -1,2,and 3.
Sri Bhagavan Uvacha :
Abhayam sattva-sanshuddhir jnana-yoga-vyavasthitih
danam damash cha yajñaśh cha svādhyāyas tapa arjavam (16-1.)
Ahinsa satyam akrodhas tyagah śhantir apaiśhunam

Tejah kshama dhritih shaucham adroho nati-manita
bhavanti sampadam daivim abhijatasya bharata ( 16-3.)
The Supreme Divine Personality said :
"O scion of Bharat, these are the saintly virtues of those endowed with a divine nature—fearlessness, purity of mind, steadfastness in spiritual knowledge, charity, control of the senses, performance of sacrifice, study of the sacred books, austerity, and straightforwardness; non-violence, truthfulness, absence of anger, renunciation, peacefulness, restraint from fault-finding, compassion toward all living beings, absence of covetousness, gentleness, modesty, and lack of fickleness; vigor, forgiveness, fortitude, cleanliness, bearing enmity toward none, and absence of vanity."

Srimad Bhagavad Gita : Chapter-16. Slokam-s -4,5,and 6.
Chapter-16. ( Daiva-asura-sampad-vibhaga-yogam ) / ( Daivasurasampadvibhagayogam )
Slokam-4. ( Hey Arjuna ! Arrogance, pride, anger, conceit, harshness and ignorance-these qualities belong to those of demonic nature. )
"Dambho darpobhimanasca krodhah parushyameva ca,
ajnanam cabhijatasya partha sampadamasurim."( Slokam-4. )
dambhah = pretending having such good guna-s which are absent in him ( false pride );
darpah = arrogantly behave because of his wealth;
abhimanah krodhah = conceit and anger;
parushyam ajnanam = harshness and ignorance;
ca = and ( the whole dharma-s completely );
asurim sampadah = one who possess the wealth of demonic ( asuric ) nature;
partha eva abhijatasya ( bhavanthi ) = Arjuna certainly present in such men.
But what are the qualities which are not divine? They are practically the opposite of these noble characteristics that are delineated as adorning a spiritual seeker, saint and sage.
#Dambhah (16.4) is vaingloriously putting on a show—making a show of that which is really not there. Dambhah is a show of something which is not there. Darpah is pride over something which is already there. So, either way there is some show. The only difference is that in one case there is nothing and in the other case there is something, but it is a big demonstration, adumbration and vainglorious advertisement of one’s great importance. Darpa? is garva, pride; dambha? is vainglorious behaviour—dambhah darpah.
#Abhimana is being intensely self-conscious, always thinking of oneself, always looking in the mirror, being fond of oneself, and imagining that all people are thinking of us only, while nobody is thinking of us. This is abhimana, too much egoism, self-consciousness.
#Krodham is anger, as I mentioned. Lord Krishna refers to it once again.
#Parushyam is cruelty, a cruel nature. We feel very happy at the suffering of other people. Even if we do not actually commit an act of cruelty, we would like it to be committed by somebody else. Or if we ourselves do it, it is still better. This is called a sadistic attitude. Masochism is feeling pleasure in our own suffering, and sadism is feeling pleasure by causing suffering to others. So we should be neither a sadist nor a masochist. Paru?yam is cruelty. Let this quality not be in us.
#Ajnanam means ignorance, which is the basis of all topsy-turvy perception of things and wrong evaluation of the world—a lack of spiritual knowledge.
One who is born with these qualities may be said to be characterised as having asuric qualities. These asuric qualities and demoniacal natures that are described in this chapter are not actually characterisations of demons themselves. They are characterisations of human beings who behave like demons, and have all the qualities of a rakshasa, or a pain-giver, killer, exploiter and destroyer. The good qualities and the undivine qualities are, therefore, characterisations of human beings. They apply to everybody—to me, to you, and to everyone.
To be continued ...

NOTE :
Role of parents and teachers in a child's life :
1.School, teachers and parents play vital role in holistic development of the child. Parents are the first mentor of the child and the teacher is the second. Both have an immense contribution and responsibility in shaping child’s personality.
2.Role of parents: Parents are the child’s first role model. Children behave, react and imitate same as their parents. Parents play important role in encouraging and motivating their kids to learn. Good parental support helps child to be positive, healthy and good life long learner. Children acquire skills at the very early stage of their life if the parents are responsive and understanding.
3.Teacher-Parent Relationship– Trust and mutual understanding between parent and teacher is a real secret of child’s happy learning. Support and Cooperativeness from parents towards teacher helps a lot to connect, understand and work towards child. Remarkable positive change is seen in a child if the parents and teacher understand and work hand in hand. A good parent teacher relationship leads child to be positive towards attending school.
