*All Members,
*Respected family members of this great holy Nation.
The question of how to live the values of life is not a new one faced only in modern times. It is as old as our scriptures. This is a weakness that every person faces in his life - the contradiction between his knowledge and his living.
**VERY IMPORTANT FOR THE PRESENT DAY PARENTS : - to direct their children - Follow Sincerely :
Your child is not different from you and you are not different from your child. Therefore, what you are, your child will be. Now you have to decide what you want yourself to be and your child to be, because the choice is yours.

SWAMI SIVANANDA
5. Essence of the Gita :
The Gita again and again emphasises that one should cultivate an attitude of non-attachment or detachment. It urges repeatedly that an individual should live in the world like water on a lotus leaf. “He who does actions, offering them to Brahman and abandoning attachment, is not tainted by sin as a lotus leaf by water”—V.10.
Attachment is due to infatuation. It is the offspring of the quality of Rajas. Detachment is born of Sattwa. The former is a demoniacal attribute, the latter a divine one. Attachment is born of ignorance, selfishness and passion and brings with it death; detachment is wisdom and brings with it freedom. The practice of detachment is a rigorous discipline. You may stumble like a baby who is just learning to walk, but you will have to rise up again with a cheerful heart. Failures are not stumbling-blocks but steppingstones to success.
Try to dwell always in your own Self. Abide in your centre. Think of the Self constantly. Then all attachments will die automatically. Attachment to the Lord is a potent antidote to annihilate all worldly attachments. He who has no attachments can really love others, for his love is pure and divine. “Therefore, without attachment do thou always perform action which should be done; for, by performing action without attachment man reaches the Supreme”—III.19.
In Defence
Some people study the Gita in order to find loopholes and criticise the teachings contained in it. The teachings of the Gita can only be understood if you approach it with a reverential attitude of mind and with intense faith.
Recently someone wrote a criticism in the newspaper: “The Gita is not a sacred book at all. It teaches violence. Lord Krishna asked Arjuna to kill even his dear relations and preceptors”. It is clear that this critic obviously has no real knowledge or understanding of the Gita. He is like Virochana who received spiritual instructions from Prajapati and took the body as being the Self on account of his perverted intellect. He is obviously a follower of the philosophy of the flesh. He cannot comprehend the depths of the Gita philosophy as his mind is callous and impervious to the reception of its truths. He has read the Gita not to gain spiritual knowledge but to attack it.
To be continued ..
Note :-
Practical application of the values explained in the Bhagwad Gita in our daily lives can be very rewarding. When knowledge sinks in and is really absorbed, then it automatically comes into play in our life. There is no gap between knowledge and its practical application.
When knowledge is comprehended intellectually, but not assimilated or internalized, then this contradiction becomes evident — I know something, but do not know how to apply it to my life.
The Bhagwad Gita teaches us how to live with things, beings and experiences that we come across in our daily life. If we really understand what is taught, we will be able to use it.
Knowledge is meant for practical use. If it is not used, then such knowledge is useless for us.
It is said in the Gita: "Jnatva sastravidhanoktam karma kartumiharhasi" —
‘Having understood what is stated in the scriptures, act accordingly. ’
The sentence appears simple; let us see its implications. All of us suffer in life at some time or other. There are many reasons for this, but one key factor is our thoughtless action. All of us know it. The flip side of it is action less thought, when thought is there, but no follow up in action.
II.. ANCIENT BHARATHAM : SATSANGAM
1. Satsang, Satsanga, Satsangam :
(sat = true, sanga = company)
In Indian philosophy means :-
(1) the company of the "highest truth,"
(2) the company of a guru, or
(3) company with an assembly of persons who listen to, talk about, and assimilate the truth.
This typically involves listening to or reading scriptures, reflecting on, discussing and assimilating their meaning, meditating on the source of these words, and bringing their meaning into one’s daily life.
The idea of satsangam was first spread by ancient Rishis such as Vedavyasa and Valmiki who explained its value in numerous ways.
"THEN PEOPLE LIVED IN KNOWLEDGE, FOLLOWED SANATANA DHARMAM, GUIDED BY ANCIENT RISHI-S AND LATER BY GREAT ACHARYA-"
III. LATER GREAT KINGDOMS UNDER VARIOUS DYNASTIES :
THEN GREAT EMPIRES RULE EXTENDED THROUGH OUT BHARATHAM TO THE EXTENT OF SOUTH, THESE EMPERORS BELIEVED AND PATRONISED SANATANA DHARMAM, CODE OF CONDUCT, WENT ON TRUTH AND REALITY.
IV. FURTHER, AFTER THE END OF DYNASTIES :
VARIOUS REGIONS WERE RULED BY SMALL KINGS ALL OVER BHARATHAM, WITHOUT ANY MUTUAL RELATIONS AND COOPERATIONS, OFTEN QUARREL EACH OTHER, MUTUAL ENEMIES ENDING IN DESTRUCTION OF THE KINGS AND REGIONS.
V. ISLAMIC INVASIONS : ATROCITIES : FORCIBLE RELIGIOUS CONVERSIONS : LOOTED THIS NATION : TRIED TO DESTROY SANATANA DHARMAM :
CHARACTERLESS, RUTHLESS, DEMONIC, ROGUES MOHAMADDENS INVADED, THOUGH FEW LOYAL KINGS TRIED TO STOP THEM, NONE OTHER KINGS OF THE REGIONS OF BHARATHAM, JOINED TO PREVENT THOSE INVASIONS, ULTIMATELY ISLAMIC RULE ESTABLISHED, BY THE TYRANNY MOHAMMADENS.
REASON BEING : 1. LOSS OF SATSANGAM, LOSS OF UNITY BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF LEADERSHIP.
VI. CHRISTIANITY : ARRIVED : LOOTED THIS NATION : DEFEATED MOHAMMEDANS AND TRAGIC STORY REPEATED :
VII.
BHARATHAM AT PRESENT :
1. DIRTY POLITICS BY CONGRESS, COMMUNISTS AND ALL REGIONAL FOOLS POLITICS CONTROLLED BY SELF APPOINTED JOKERS AS LEADERS, SURVIVE IN ANTI CENTRE POLICY, REGIONAL LANGUAGE TOPICS, NORTH SOUTH THEORIES, HINDUTVA THEORY TO OPPOSE THE CENTRE,;
2. ALL THESE DEMONS EQUATE BJP WITH HINDUTVA = HINDUS, BY THIS TO SOW THE FEAR SEED IN MUSLIMS AND CHRISTIANS, EASY WAY TO CREATE VOTE BANKS;
3. IF BJP WISH TO PRESERVE ANCIENT SANATANA DHARMAM, WHAT IS WRONG IN IT?
4. THE PRESENT GOVERNMENT SERVING WELL, WHAT CONGRESS DID NOT DO BJP IS DOING BRILLIANTLY : SAB KA SAATH AND SAB KA VIKAS.
5. NOW ALL DEMONS MAKE AN ALLIANCE TO DISLODGE THE GOVERNMENT AND NOW PEOPLE MUST KNOW THAT BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF UNITY ISLAMIC AND CHRISTIAN RULE CAME TO BHARATHAM, IF THE GRAND ALLIANCE OF STUPID POLITICIANS TRY TOPPLE THIS STRONG CENTRE, MEANS WE ARE INVITING EXTERNAL AGGRESSION, BY OUR OWN FAULTY POLITICIANS.
OPINION :
1. PEOPLE MUST REALISE THE DANGER OF ALLOWING RAGA, MAMATAS, KEJRIWAL, NAIDU, MULAYAM, COMMUNISTS, DMK, AIADMK, CINEMA FELLOWS, CONGRESS AND ALL BUGGERS;
2. WE NEED A VERY STRONG LEADERSHIP AND A GOOD TEAM INDIA, MODI JI AND BJP ARE PERFORMING WELL, DO NOT DESTABILISE;
3. NOW WHAT IS SANATANA DHARMAM, UNDERSTAND FIRST, AND NOBODY WANTS ADHARMA, SO AS WE KNOW THE OTHER NAME OF SANATANA DHARMAM AS WE CALL IT HINDUISM, FAR SUPERIOR THAN ANY THING IN THE WORLD
