Ref : People of Bharatham since Ancient days, consider, regard, feel, believe this Nation as their Holy Mother; Mother Devi. a combination of Saraswathi, Lakshmi, and Parvathi, called as Durga; a just Sanghalpam of all Ancient Bharatham, this still is followed, So for us Bharatham is our Mother; ......
"Matha, Pitha, Guru, Dhaivam. " { "1. Mother, 2. Father, 3. Teacher, 4. God."} So Mother has the most important place, the first; and PLACE OF GOD IS LAST, this should not be meant disrespect to God, as Lord Krishna says in Gita!
Discussion-8&9.
8. Sikh view :
Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), the paramount representative body in the Sikh Panth, requested that the Sikhs not sing Vande Mataram in the schools and institutions on its centenary on 7 September 2006.
SGPC head, Avtar Singh Makkar, expressed concern that "imposing a song that reflected just one religion was bound to hurt the sentiments of religious minorities.
The Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) has called singing of 'Vande Mataram' against Sikh tenets as the Sikhs sought 'sarbat da bhala' (universal welfare)."
9. Christian view :
Fr. Cyprian Kullu from Jharkhand stated in an interview with AsiaNews : - "The song is a part of our history and national festivity and religion should not be dragged into such mundane things.
The Vande Mataram is simply a national song without any connotation that could violate the tenets of any religion."
However, some Christian institutions such as Our Lady of Fatima Convent School in Patiala did not sing the song on its 100th anniversary as mandated by the state.

In particular, large grants under British rule have ensured that Churches have .. majority are elite and rich, holding large rubber estates and no limit in their holdings, whereas Hindus were farmers having small holdings of paddy cultivation! ( this the communists put treacherous limit in holding and levy on the production too, in Kerala Christians are land lords, with the backing of political and church which receive huge funds from the west as aid...
