After tensions between India and Pakistan intensified last week, following "surgical strikes" conducted by the Indian Army across the Line of Control (LOC), reactions from across the border have ranged from belligerence to caution. The latest Pakistani voice to lash out against India is former cricketer Javed Miandad, who has called for an "all-out attack" on India.
Miandad went onto say that he's "ready for martyrdom" if needed.
Miandad, in a television interview with Pakistani news channel Samaa TV, said, "I have traveled a lot to India during my cricketing days. I know that the general public (in India) is not like that. But there are people like Narendra Modi, who is an egg. An egg who doesn't know about his father or mother. He doesn't know who is he threatening. We are ready for war. We are ready for martyrdom. Every Pakistani, even every child, is ready to fight and die for this holy war. They (referring to India) are cowards, they have no army, nothing."

Dawood Ibrahim's relative, and Pakistan's cricketing great Javed Miandad is in the news because of his anti-India comments. Known for strong stand against India, Miandad compared India right now to Germany during Hitler led World War 2. Drawing parallels between the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the Nazi leader.
Speaking to a Pakistani news channel, he's predicted that India will soon be divided into 54 small countries based on different religions and languages. It would be interesting to know how he ended up with that number. He went on with his hate speech by saying Sikhs were next in line to demand their own country.
Dawood's daughter is married to Miandad's son, and apparently Miandad's apprehensive about the safety of his in-law after his rival Chhota Rajan was captured in Bali.
Taking about the latest inequality question that's being raised quite often in the country, he was asked about the recent controversy involving Shahrukh Khan. "India is known in the world because of Sharukh and Salman Khan and the treatment meted out to him is totally wrong," said Miandad.

Amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan after the recent surgical strikes by the Indian Army across the Line of Control (LoC), Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi has urged that two Asian neighbours to maintain peace and say no to war.
Taking to micro blogging website Twitter, Afridi insisted that Pakistan is a peace loving country and that they wanted to have cordial relations with everyone.
“Pakistan is a peace loving nation, why talk about extreme measures when things can be resolved through dialogues?” the former T20 skipper said.
“Pakistan wants cordial relationship with all. When two neighbours fight both homes are effected (affected). Say No to war. #Pakistan #India #Peace #neighbours,” he tweeted in a series of tweets.

1. PAKISTAN IS NOT LEARNING LESSONS FROM THE PAST;
2. IT IS ISOLATING GRADUALLY BY ITSELF;
3. WORLD COMMUNITY GRADUALLY KNOWING THIS ASURA;
4. STILL TIME TO REALISE THE TRUTH;
5. OTHERWISE PAKISTAN WILL SOON VANISH FROM THE WORLD MAP BY ITS OWN DEEDS.
